Well it's back to figuring how to keep a weblog alive and happy, guessing just the facts will have to do for now...

June 2015 I bought a Promaster 2500 Window Wagon w/ the 3.0 liter diesel & am loving it.

In Memorial:

Traded in my much loved 1999 Ford 4WD F-150 short bed, step side standard cab V8 w/ 17" wheels at 168,000 miles - in 15 years my 'memorable' out of pocket expenses were one set of tires, exhaust manifold, new plugs at 150k, a set of shocks, two all wheel brake rebuilds, new OEM rear springs w/ 500# helper leafs after bending a leaf when a sinkhole opened up and tried to tear the axle off... and a topper.... oh, and a junkyard A/C condenser after 50mph windstorm in Ft Collins dropped a limb on hood while I was going 40~mph, stick pivoted through grill and took out the cooler, almost wiping out the radiator - something wanted me to stay in Ft Collins?

As a long distance traveler, say 1100 miles in 18 hours, I had no fear driving that, pushed through near-blizzard snowstorms in -20ºF while towing, slept in the cab at -30ºF, cruised across the South at 115ºF.. Maine to Oregon to Florida to Texas and 15 Minnesota winters it never once bit me, no tickets, no accidents...

Anyhow I got sick of only having the cab, the bed/topper was about useless, towing w/ lifted truck was misery, mileage was 11-13 city and 15-17 highway - when gas boomed up to $4 a gallon it got driven less and less often - and rust never sleeps; the epilogue is Burnsville RAM did not shame me on my trade-ins...

More to follow.
